In the city where I live, I learn that many online businesses shut down specifically on food selling business. The sellers shared their heartbreaking experience selling ready to eat food online. They said they lose a huge capital. Some buyers upon delivery of the order refused to pay without elaborating the reasons. They just locked their homes as if nothing happened. Some of them were new and others almost one year in this business.

It seems not favorable to sell ready to eat food online. The customers might have reasons. One feedback stated that one customer ordered pork adobo but when the customer opened the parcel, the worms came out from food. The food sold was not fresh, toxic.

Dishonest online sellers will never thrive in their online business.

I think the situation you shared clearly reflects the risks and challenges of selling food online, especially in a market where trust is still not fully established. It's disheartening to hear that some sellers lose their investment and that some customers fail to make payments or, even worse, deliver spoiled products. The experience you mentioned, with spoiled food, can damage the reputation of all honest sellers and make customers generally distrustful. Personally, I believe that for an online food business to thrive, there must be transparency, good practices, and quality control. People aren't just looking for food; they're also looking for trust and security. Honest and responsible sellers must focus on offering quality products and maintaining clear communication with their customers. Only then can they build a good reputation and prosper in such a competitive market.

Indeed, there is a possible risks to be encountered by the ready-to-eat food online sellers. They are affected by the negative feedback from other sellers who are not doing their business honestly.

I haven't fully started an online business, but my current one works both offline and online. For now it's doing okay.
Wow, congrats, I am happy for you, at least you finally started to manage an online and offline business. That's the usual feeling, being new to business, soon you will get used to it.

Because of the increasing rate of prices, businesses are affected. I also have a very few customers for three months now. The price of the T-shirts and branded shoes has gone up. Customers prefer to buy local and on sale displays.
