If you are a business owner, there are many things you have to know about the culture, attitude, and mindsets of your customers. Once they are in your business center, let them tour around to choose what to buy and only help them if they ask it to you or to your staff for assistance. Never recommend to them what to buy, they will get mad and may shout at you for interfering their affairs. Let them decide. I experienced it this morning, the staff asked the customer to buy this and that and the customers quarreled the staff. They are the ones needing the items, so better leave them alone and wait only for their payment.

You better not try to tell a customer what to buy. What id the experience they get from using the product doesn't match their expectations, they would completely blame you for it.

Good advice, in my country those store owners suggest you to buy something that no one likes to buy, they offer you a good price discount to.
That is unique, the sales people here are warned not to ask the customers what to buy. They only assist the customers. They do not like a sales person who keeps on asking and suggesting what to buy.

It is a good thing to let the customers decide what to buy, it shows that the respect they have the customers.

Put it yourself you will feel irritated if it's the sales person to decide what to buy keep on pen pointing the products. I experienced it so I left the business center feeling irritated and transferred to another store.

One thing about selecting or making the choice for them is that if anything goes wrong, you would be the one they would put the blame on and probably you where simply just trying to help.

Agree, there are customers like that fault finder but the truth is they were irritated for being disturbed in their detections of the products they need to purchase. It's easy to say thank you to the sales person or tell they can manage rather than blabbering.

In the case I would get angry is if I find out the sales person is trying to make me buy a particular product for promotional purpose or any other agenda, it's easy to misinterpret that anyway. There are skills to everything, salesperson should find their way around customers too, their boss will love when they make more sales while on duty, but still they should learn how to stay out of troubles, Some customers can be harsh for no reason.
The tactic of the sales person harms her. It's because no customers to stay or feel happy being dictated. It's irrational. The customers must be given freedom to choose and decide. They don't like interruptions of their focus.

Yeah, it is very rude to show you what you buy, peoples have their own need and we choose what we want, those store owners shouldn't make any move.

It is not good to suggest to customers because , customers are to buy their want and need, they don’t expected to suggest what they should buy . Frther more, Customers are not satisfied if only they don’t buy their wants .

Yes it’s not good to suggest to customers what they should buy. Before customers leave the house they all make list on what they should buy so at that point they don’t expect any suggestions from their manufacturer

Even myself, I do not like sales staff to keep on asking me what to buy and suggest what to buy. I leave the place and report it to the supervisor and the next time, they are not anymore interfering the customers.

Good decision, that is the right thing to do when they interfere with your choice.

Yes and we'll be out of our focus if there are eyes that keep on watching us and mouth that keeps on blabbering on what to buy. It's irritating episode.

The choice to purchase always lies with the consumers and they should not be forced into buying something. But then that's the job of sales and marketing people to influence consumers and persuade them to buy certain products. If they don't do that, they might loose their bread and butter. The trick is to do it in a very subtle way. It should always be the final choice of the consumer. Forcing them or over advertising might backfire.

That also depends on the customers. I only experienced once a sales staff following me and kept on asking what to buy yet she saw me selecting new arrival dresses. I told her politely that it's me the buyer to decide. It's annoying if disturbed.

That would be annoying. And here it might backfire. The sales person have to be patient and let consumers explore before bogging them down with suggestions. A good sales person would give the suggestions in right amount and at right time.

It never happened again the next time that I decided to buy at the same mall. The sales staff are no longer disturbing the customers. I saw them arranging the items. I have learned that they were sacked by people on Facebook 😱.

Oh! I don't know how to react to that. I am sorry that some one has to loose their job. One warning or heads up should be given to everyone to rectify themselves. Some people misuse the social media platforms. But then even employees have to be alert and aware. It takes no time for anything to go viral these days.
