Downloading of phone apps from the play stores or through sender apps? Which is which?

I have realized that most recommended way to acquire phone apps is through downloading the phone's app on the phone play store. However receiving some apps from external sources like the sending apps can be harmful to your devices due to the malware and viruses that are inherently with that process.

Most times you might not be able to install the app you collect from external sources. It's better you just download your app directly.
