A series of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids ignited widespread protests, confrontations, and scenes of chaos as federal agents detained at least 44 individuals across Los Angeles on Friday. KTLA's Chris Wolfe and Lindsey Pena report on June 6, 2025.

Los Angeles needs a new mayor; they need to impeach this mayor now. The recent demonstration in Los Angeles has caused significant disruption and raised serious concerns about public safety and order. While peaceful protest is a protected right, actions that lead to street chaos, block traffic, or threaten community well-being should not be tolerated. Those who actively incite or participate in unlawful behavior should be held accountable by the law. If individuals involved are found to be undocumented and violating legal statutes, appropriate legal procedures should follow, including possible removal and future inadmissibility as per immigration laws. Protests must remain peaceful and lawful. Events that cross into public endangerment undermine the values of civil discourse and respect for the rule of law.- One viewer said.
