Hezbollah targeted military and industrial targets in Lebanon overnight, firing a "barrage" of rockets into northern Israel, according to the Israeli army. Although several residences were struck, the majority of the 105 rockets were intercepted. The Israel Defense Forces said that air raid sirens were activated all night long. Hezbollah claimed to have retaliated for the walkie-talkie and pager strikes last week by firing dozens of missiles at targets in northern Israel. After the IDF claimed to have killed twelve prominent Hezbollah commanders during an airstrike in Beirut on Friday, Israel has also proceeded to bomb targets in Lebanon. According to Lebanon, 37 individuals died, three of them were children.
