Dozens of rockets fired into Israel from Lebanon, IDF says

According to the report, a barrage of rockets have been fired into northern Israel from Lebanon, according to the Israeli army, as Hezbollah targeted industrial and military sites. Most of the 105 rockets were intercepted, though some homes were hit, the Israel Defense Forces said.

The report said that video posted online overnight, so far unverified by the BBC, appears to show a fire in a residential area near Haifa after it was hit by a Hezbollah rocket.

The report added that as fears increase that the conflict may break out into a full-scale war, the US Embassy in Beirut has urged US citizens to depart Lebanon while commercial options still remain available.
