Driving Traffic with Social Media

When I launched my first self hosted blog in 2015, I also created a Facebook page and Twitter account for my blog. I added my blog URL to my social profiles and used the same logo for branding. I shared every new post on Facebook and Twitter. You not only need to publish new content on your blog, you also need to continue to build your blog’s social media pages. At first, you don’t get a lot of traffic because your social pages do not have many followers. But over time, your followers will grow and they will regularly check your posts and visit blog. Social media users help build long term audience.
