According to the report, Israel is recruiting African refugees for "life-threatening" operations in Gaza in exchange for settled status in the country.

The report said that this startling revelation was made by Israeli Defence officials who told the Haaretz newspaper that the project was being conducted under the guidance of legal advisers from the defense establishment in an organized manner.

The report added that there are approximately 30,000 African asylum seekers in Israel. They have faced growing pressure from anti-immigrant politicians, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

You can imagine, you left your country to survive. You came to country hoping you would leave happily. You end up fighting for a country you are seeking refuge to get status. But at least they are not forced to fight. Some Africans who serve are Jews of origin that's why they have the heart to serve Israel as their homeland.
