Announcement Duplicated Threads and Posts

Well, it seems to me we have an issue with duplicated threads and posts. I got around to installing an addon to have a look at this issue. I found that one person had a few of them without it. After installing I see some people have 2 or 3 of the same threads and posts. Not even on different days.

So, what does this mean? Payouts are on hold until I get them all taking care of.

Everyone that this happens to can report the duplicated threads and posts. So, staff can take care of it.

Any post that is under these deleted threads will be gone as well.

The duplicated threads is always as a result of network connection issues. I don't think anyone wants to intentionally post duplicate threads.

So how long would it take for this to be taken care of so that people get paid? This is really not a good way to end the year for users who have put in so much hardwork on the forum?

This can be true but only to a point. And only if the times and dates are close. They are still getting removed either way. And they can be reported by the person. And of course it isn't everyone.

So how long would it take for this to be taken care of so that people get paid? This is really not a good way to end the year for users who have put in so much hardwork on the forum?

When I am done. And I could be using my time doing other things instead of this.

Also, people are posting in these topics after the thread is created. So, this is not a network issue at all. And most of the time the post is the same in 2 topics.

And I do have some people that do report the issue when it happens.

I should add that if I see 2 of the same topics, I am only deleting one of them.

@fords8, while I understand everything. I feel this notice should have been served long before now so users know how to manage their expectations. It is the last day of the month, alas the year, and some users were expecting to get paid, and this happens. It is really devastating to say the least. And to make it worse, it is indefinite suspension of payout without any set day, so people can still manage their expectations. It is fine though.

Well, I was not expecting to have to do this. And if it was a few, I would have just done it without no one knowing. And If I pay out to people and they don't have the D-Bucks to cover the deleted threads and post, then who going to pay for that?

Of course, the more you come and type at me, the more I will type back. Guess what isn't getting done then?

I also will be keeping an eye on this from now on. This shouldn't get this bad down the road.
