ECWA Pastor k!lled by a mob who accused him of witchcraft



An ECWA pastor has been brutally killed by a mob after being accused of witchcraft in Kasuwan Magani, Kaduna State.The Evangelical Church Winning (ECWA) Theological Seminary, Kagoro, confirmed that the victim, Pastor Dio Idon, a former student of the seminary, was attacked and killed on Sunday, January 4, 2026.

According to the seminary, the violence erupted after the death of the pastor’s brother, who reportedly passed on after a period of illness. Following the incident, members of the community allegedly accused Pastor Idon of witchcraft, attacked him, killed him, and set his body on fire.

That's just madness, what proof do they have that the pastor had a hand in this? All this jungle justice needs to stop.
