GBV often starts with ignorance a belief that one gender has the right to dominate the other prevention begins with education, especially in homes and schools parents must teach their children respect, not control also teachers must emphasize emotional intelligence, not just academics we must raise a generation that values equality.

Absolutely true. Gender-based violence doesn't appear out of nowhere; it stems from ignorance and misconceptions that are often passed on from childhood. Therefore, education is the most powerful tool we have to prevent it. Parents have a fundamental role: they must teach their children that respect is paramount, that no one has the right to control another person, and that gender differences are not hierarchies. Schools should also place greater emphasis on empathy, communication, and emotional intelligence, not just on academic subjects. Raising a generation that understands the value of equality is the foundation for a future without violence. If we teach children from an early age to treat others with respect, we will be nipping in the bud many behaviors that can later turn into abuse or domination.
