I am investing in non-convertible debentures (NCDs) and the companies are sending me cheques or demand drafts claiming that online transfers are failing or getting rejected by the NEFT system. The bank details have not changed and are correct, yet a large number of companies are sending me letters with drafts. Does anyone else face the problem of online payments failing and what could be the reason?
