I recently watched Elio with my little nieces, while it's a children cartoon i sort of connected with the theme of the cartoon. In some ways i related to Elio, that feeling of not belonging, and the urge to go somewhere far away hoping to find people or someone who would accept and love me the way i want. All in all Elio is a pretty good movie for kids.

How nice that a cartoon can resonate with adults too. It's interesting how children's stories can touch on deep themes like the search for acceptance and belonging. I'm glad you were able to connect with Elio in that way. Good children's movies definitely have messages that we can all appreciate.

Very true, most of these so called children movies or cartoons often have deep meanings, but the children might not understand them, only the adults.
