Employing a relative to handle account out of trust or hiring a professional accountant that you don't know?

When it comes to business, the financial aspect is the key aspect of running the business. And hiring someone to manage accounts and finances is very sensitive. Would you rather hire a relative who is not a pro but you trust or a pro accountant that you don't even know?
