If you are an employer, it's your responsibility to follow the labor laws that involve yourself and your employees. Employment laws, or labor laws, are the general set of rules that apply to businesses that have workers. You cannot escape the laws because employment laws cover the rights and responsibilities of employers and workers and are governed by both legal laws in a country. Regardless of the size of your business, you have to follow the employment laws. This gives assurance that as an employer, you are treating your employees fairly. They will also be the ones to report you in case you are not treating them well or fairly especially if you are practicing nepotism in your business. It is better to be safe than sorry.
