Emulators? Who has used one?

Emulators are used to run the operating system of a particular device on another kind of device. It implies that one can run an android operating system on a Windows OS. Have you ever used an emulator?

The only emulator I ever used was Blue Stacks. Used it back in the days to play android games on PC. Didn't get the real Android experience.

I have used a lot of emulators, though mostly for games, i have used different emulators to run various Nintendo games such as Gameboy, Gameboy advance, sega, Nintendo DS, nintendo n64, nintendo GameCube, and play station one, two and play station portable.
