Entering extended passive mode automatically

The FTP software which I was using was working properly till a few days ago. Now it is suddenly giving the message Entering extended passive mode and I cannot upload or download any file. Does anyone know the reason why I am getting the message and how to stop it?

Sometimes this happens to me as well, I believe it is server issue or even your slow internet connection

It might be as a result of slow internet connection. Give it a break and try again later.
