Ethiopia's biggest bank experience a major glitch yesterday leading to customers withdrawimg more money than they had in their accounts.The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia stated that they have lost more than 2.4 billion Ethiopian birr due to that techie glitch

The News of the techie glitch was spread on social media by university students and they withdrew much more money.
But the bank is not looking to
press charges against students who withdraw money that was more than they had. They are working with the police to recoup the lost cash.
The problem wasn't a cyber attack but that of routine system update and inspections.
