There is this adage that holds that every child who is born into this world enters alongside his/her plate. The gist of this saying is that people should not hold back from having children because the Universe will always ensure that these offspring's needs are catered for.

No, I have not heard this saying before. I have nothing against people who love to have children. They are a blessing from God. However, in my case, I prefer not to have a child because of my illness. I do not want to pass on my genes and risk causing my child to suffer. Moreover, I do not have the financial resources to raise children.
