Extension for another one year usage for my smart phone

For me l can say that my personal smart phone is four years old as l speak. Therefore l have decided to go for an extra one year usage and have a brand new one come in the the year 2027. How long do you use your smartphone before replacing it with another one?

My smartphone started malfunctioning after less than 3 years, so I replaced it with a new one. I usually purchase the cheapest smartphones, so I do not expect them to last for a long time.
