External Storage Vs Cloud Storage- Which is safer for backup?

For the most part, we need to backup our important files, as individuals. There are options of backing up on the cloud or backing up to an external drive.

Which do you think is safer for you between cloud storage and external storage?

Both methods are safe, but storing your files on an external storage device might be safer since your online files could be vulnerable to compromise. I do not have a problem with saving my files using both methods, though.

So far both are safe, it's just a matter of preference cause at the end of the day even what you save in an external storage could get loss or damaged.
