Most middle class families keep trying to earn more money to increase their status but in the process sometimes they spoil their children's career. Trying to earn more is not bad but not by depriving some children.
 
Indeed, some parents interfere in the affairs of their kids and it is not only that, they also show favoritism which hrts the feelings of the other family members. There are also parents who like to decide about the careers of their kids.

This happens in most of the families in India. They take all the decisions for their children. If the decision the child does well and if they are wrong the child's life gets spoiled.

That sounds ridiculous. The kid also has the right to decide for the course he wants to take. What if he doesn't like the choice of his parents? The kid may not take the course not his preference seriously.

The children are not always right but the parents should give them a chance to try out their interests which most Indian parents don't do.
 
Most parents tend to force their kids to go into a career part the child has no passion for. This has lead to so many young adults wasting their time, not being able to achieve anything.

That's correct. They enjoy intruding into their children's lives without considering the ramifications of their actions. They should let their children decide what jobs they want to pursue in life.

That's true kids need parental guidance to avoid deviating from the norm. They're vulnerable to drug using.
