Family of 12-year-old shot, killed in Cincinnati holds balloon release in his memory

From the Cincinnati report, the family of a 12-year-old boy shot and killed over a stolen car is mourning their son. Nehemiah McMillon was found in the back seat of the car. His family is still grappling with what led up to the shooting.

The report said that Nehemiah McMillon was the youngest of his 14 siblings. Local 12 spoke to his brother, who questions what was going through Nehemiah McMillon's mind when he got into the car, but whatever it was, he says it shouldn't have cost his brother his life. Andrew McMillon knows he can't wish his brother back to life, but he hopes other kids can see what can happen.

More than anything, Andrew McMillon is surprised his brother was in a stolen car. Andrew McMillon trusts the courts to hand out justice for the man who allegedly killed his brother.

Police have not shared if they have the other young people who were with Nehemiah McMillon when they allegedly tried to steal the car.
