six-month renovation of the main pedestrian thoroughfare in Tetovo's old bazaar has been completed. The project, funded by the municipality and a Swiss development agency, involved laying traditional-style cobblestones, installing energy-efficient, ornate street lighting, and improving drainage. Shop owners have praised the makeover, hoping it will attract more shoppers and tourists. "It feels revitalized. It honors our history while making the space more functional and beautiful," said a longtime jewelry store owner. A formal reopening ceremony is scheduled for New Year's Eve.
