FCT police busts six-man armed robbery one-chance gang, arrests six and rescue victim

In a sustained onslaught against armed robbery “one chance” criminal syndicates within the Federal Capital Territory and its environs, operatives of the FCT Police Command attached to the Anti-One Chance Unit have arrested six suspects, neutralized one, rescued a victim, and recovered their operational vehicle.


A statement from the command's spokesperson, CSP Josephine Adeh, says on August 6 at 8.30a.m., while on routine patrol with two vehicles, the officers sighted a victim later identified as Angel Patrick, being pushed out of a moving vehicle along Kubwa Expressway.

If they where actually caught in the act, can they still be called suspects? Anyways glad they where able to catch them.

The offence of armed robbery carries the death sentence in my country. Now commuted to life imprisonment.
I hope the Nigerian authorities will do justice to these armed robbery suspects.
