Well, as I'm needing a better featured netbook and a better featured mobile, I'm thinking on a tablet. I can't purchase both a new netbook (or notebook) and a new mobile, so I'm deciding a tablet is a good compromise between the two devices. I noticed that VAIO is presenting a tablet running Android13 (I suppose it's possible to upgrade to Android14), a ROM of 128 (if I remember well) and a RAM of 8. Very good double-facing camera. The reviews of people who purchased this tablet are very good. The price is a bit higher than a new mobile similarly featured and very lower than a poorly featured notebook. This tablet comes with a case and a keyboard and I'll only need to add a wireless mouse, a pen and a screen protector. I think such a tablet could meet my working and studying needs.

Your reasoning seems pretty sound to me. If you need to upgrade both your laptop and your phone, but your budget doesn't extend to both, a good tablet can be an excellent compromise. These days, tablets have made significant progress in terms of power, battery life, and versatility. A device like the one you mention, with Android 13 (and the option to upgrade to 14), 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, is no longer just for content consumption, but also for productivity tasks.

That sounds like a solid choice @pousinha . Tablets these days are really a great middle ground between a mobile and a laptop, especially with good RAM and storage.

Some good options to check out are the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+, Lenovo Idea Tab with Pen, and Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro — all offer great productivity features without needing a full laptop.
