The Federal government of Nigeria as stated that they are developing a new wage system for the civil service that will be tied to employee productivity.

This will enable workers at the same level to potentially earn varying salaries. This was disclosed by the Director-General of the National Productivity Centre, at the organization’s headquarters in Abuja yesterday May 13.

I think that sounds so good. When workers are being paid through the merit system the production output tends to go higher up.
Definitely, this is always the case. If we want workere that would give their best at work it is good to pay them handsomely as well
