FG declares Tuesday July 15 public holiday to honour Buhari

The federal government has declared Tuesday, July 15, a public holiday to honour the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Minister of Interior Affairs, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made this announcement on Monday, July 14, on behalf of the Federal Government, following the approval of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

The minister stated that the holiday is a mark of respect for the late president’s service to the nation, his contributions to Nigeria’s democratic journey, and his enduring legacy in governance and national development.
