I have noticed that a file is downloaded automatically when I use firefox browser. Does any other member of this forum face this problem? If yes, what could be the possible reasons why the file is getting downloaded?

File download from firefox browser

I have never experienced that thing at all. However if it downloads some useful files automatically that pretty good idea for me.
It is a setting thing. You should go to the download settings of the browser. Alter every download to ask for permission.

I never experienced it, also I'm not using Firefox. I'm only using Google Chrome. In the past years I was using Firefox it's required by our University professor, but after I graduated at the university, I stopped using Firefox.
For me l rarely use Firefox browsers on my devices. I am a Chrome browser diligent user for that matter.
That browser is set to automatically start downloads when a download link is tapped on a web page. It happens on Google chrome too and can be adjusted on settings.

I have only used the Firefox browser for a few weeks and didn't experience this issue though, probably a setting you activated?
