What financial advice would you give your younger self? In my case, start saving early and learn about finances. Learn to earn, save, and spend money wisely. In addition, live within your means. How about you?

Do not gamble, it is at this young age we do not understand that gambling is stealing from us. it takes out time and money
I couldn't agree more. Gambling can be addicting and ruin both your personal and professional life, so avoid it. I know someone who became so addicted to it that she sold her two-story house and SUV to play at the casino. Her husband left her because of her gambling addiction.

For me it would be save more and spend less. There are lots of mistakes I made while younger. I had saving plans back then but my spending was Abit on the high side.

My point exactly. I see a lot of young people here just gambling their lives away. They might realise the truth a little bit late which could be detrimental to them

My younger self only spent money on clothes and wears to look good. I would have told by younger self to always spend money on assets and not liabilities like clothes.
Same here. It was one of my regrets, actually. LOL. I spent a lot of money on clothes!

Yes, they are addicted to it. They do not consider the implications of gambling. Sometimes it is too late for them to recognize that it is bad for them.

In my younger days, I used to see lots of free money but didn't recognize the need to invest those funds that came my way. My younger self should have just stayed away from women. It is what drained me financially.

Oh, I am sorry to hear this. Being with someone we admire or adore might deplete our financial resources, especially if they do not have their own jobs.

I would give advice on what to think about before buying. I made really very impulsive purchases and if I had thought at least a week before whether I needed this thing or not, I probably wouldn't have bought 90 percent of the products

Same here. I used to be an impulsive buyer when I was younger and I regret the times when I did not save for a rainy day.

In fact, our parents have been trained to save since childhood, even if only in a piggy bank, but this will form a good habit so that we can discipline ourselves, live frugally, that is my advice, so that expenses do not exceed income.

Yes, they are taught to save, but it requires consistency and discipline. And, you are right. We must live frugally, live within our means.

I would advise them to invest in things for which rates will increase in the future. My parents did not guide me, so I could not invest in buying property in my younger days. I wish someone had guided me.
Yes buying things in your xoujter days is the way to go. You would make a whole lot of money when you have passive income sources
