Fire has gutted several classrooms at an Animal Health School in Kabo Local Government Area of Kano State
The incident occurred at about 2:53 pm on Monday, when the Kano State Fire Service received a distress call from a resident, Jamilu Abubakar, reporting the outbreak.

Confirming the development on Tuesday, the Public Relations Officer of the Kano State Fire Service, ACFO Saminu Abdullahi, urged residents to promptly report fire incidents and other emergencies to the service

This begs the question, does Nigeria actually have an active fire department for each state? I highly doubt this.
