Flash floods hit villages in northern India and Indian-administered Kashmir

Flash floods in Indian-administered Kashmir caused the deaths of at least 34 people in a village that is host for Hindu pilgrims.

The catastrophe occurred in the isolated village of Chositi in the Kishtwar region, which is situated along a familiar pilgrimage path to a well-known Himalayan temple.
