According to the report, a Florida man killed his wife and shot his stepdaughter in the face following an argument over watching an NFL game, authorities say. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said during a news conference that Jason Kenney, 47, had been drinking and watching Monday Night Football in his shed in Highland City, just east of Tampa, late on December 22.
The report stated that Kenney then went inside his home and wanted to continue watching the game in the living room, where his wife, Crystal, was. An argument ensued, and Cyrstal was shot and killed.
The report added that Kenney's stepdaughter begged not to be shot, but was shot twice. The girl is in critical but stable condition. Kenney ended up in a shed on his father's old property, adding that Deputies tracked him down, and when they called for him to come out, they heard a single gunshot. They found Kenney dead inside.
