Okay, so the French National Assembly shot down those no-confidence votes against Sébastien Lecornu's government. This all happened because everyone’s fighting about that EU-Mercosur trade deal. What I think is key is that the government's standing its ground, even though it's causing a lot of disagreements back home.
It's really about those who want to open up the economy versus those worried about farmers and the environment. Even with all the heat, the government stuck to its guns, which helps them out in Europe. The big thing for me is that this shows the EU-Mercosur thing is still gonna be huge for global stuff. Basically, France has gotta figure out how to balance money and the planet.
