For those interested in being their own boss but unsure whether to freelance or start a full business, I'm curious to hear people's thoughts on the pros and cons of each path. Freelancing allows you to test the waters and gain experience, but you don't have the same level of control and long term opportunities as owning a business. However, starting a business requires more capital and risk. Where do you recommend drawing the line between freelancing extensively or taking the leap to an independent business? What has been your personal experience?

One major advantage with becoming a freelancer is that you might not need capital to startup.you can simply register on one of these freelancing sites like Upwork and the likes and grow from there. you are also gaining experience.

Let's take for instance, you want to be a freelance writer or you want to open your own blog. I believe that you would need to combine the two together than dropping one for one. Starting your own business might take long to yield. Freelancing gives you immediate cash. Freelance and build your business till it stands before you think of ending freelance totally.

I've been working as an online freelancer for more than a decade now, and I must admit that it's a somewhat unpredictable industry. However, the best part is that you don't need to have any start-up capital to begin. All you require is proficiency/skills, the necessary equipment, and a strong commitment to get started in this field.

Business is more better than freelancing because it gives you freedom to organise your daily schedule. Secondly, business is capital intensive and involves a lot of thinking. While freelancing is okay, you can't compare it to business
