That is one way of ending an argument shortly.
Not sure but some people just walk away or agree with them even if they are wrong personally if I would tell something mean to my friend they would not speak to me for a whole month and it annoys me that they lack of communication
When the quarrell is not worth it then it is walk away. it doesn't make any sense to continue to talk about it.
To accept your fault, if any and say sorry for that. Then you'll see the argument will no longer stay there. Although this remain very difficult because some people never accept their fault.
I am sure walking away will make the person mad.
