According to the report, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has said he was prepared to deploy troops to Ukraine "if necessary". Starmer said he was aware of the "responsibility that comes with potentially putting British servicemen and women in harm's way".

The report said that his remarks in The Telegraph came as France is hosting European leaders to discuss President Trump's announcement of peace talks with Russia to end the war in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Germany said it was "premature" to discuss sending its troops to Ukraine as part of any potential peacekeeping force after the UK declared it was ready for such a move.

The report added that Poland also refused troops for Ukraine, pledging support "under our financial capabilities, in terms of humanitarian and military aid".

The UK has to remember their previous experience in war, they ( Churchill) had the support of their colonies ( of course forcibly) then the US then mighty Russia, That's why the UK has to teach their children proper history, otherwise they will be taking wrong decision like this. Trump eyes ceasefire 'By Easter' is far, but hoping, he will succeed in this intervention.
