Bombardier has created an entirely new aircraft. The Global 8000 received FAA approval on December 19, 2025, and deliveries have begun in the United States. This is a significant milestone, as this flagship aircraft had already received its Canadian certification last November. The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is still conducting a review, but things are progressing smoothly.

This is no ordinary aircraft. With a speed of Mach 0.95, it's the fastest commercial airliner since the Concorde's retirement in 2003. Its 8,000 nautical mile range allows it to fly nonstop between more cities than any other jetliner. This translates to great flexibility for business travelers who want to fly long distances without refueling.

Comfort has also been a priority. The cabin pressure is only 2,691 feet at an altitude of 41,000 feet, making the flight exceptionally comfortable. Its wing design is highly advanced, and its leading-edge slats enable it to land on shorter runways and access a wider range of airports. Bombardier claims it can carry 30% more passengers than its competitors.

The aircraft is powered by GE Passport 20 engines, each producing 19,000 pounds of thrust. These engines have been modified to increase speed and range. Building on the success of the Global 7500, the program has been taken to a new level. During test flights, the aircraft achieved supersonic speeds. The Global 8000 is a luxurious jetliner with impressive performance.
