Gmail on Android Blinking Like a Disco Ball—Anyone Else?

Okay, what’s up with Gmail lately? Every time I open it on my Android phone, the app blinks/flashes like it’s trying to send me Morse code. It’s not constant, but when it happens, it’s super annoying—like the screen’s glitching or refreshing nonstop.

Tried the usual fixes (clearing cache, restarting, updating the app), but it still pops up randomly. Is this just me, or is Gmail secretly training for a rave?

Try to use other means of opening your gmail. Try to open your gmail in your browser. If the gmail opened in your browser is not having the same issue, you will know that it is from the phone or app.

Have you confirm if your email app is updated? Most times this happens when the app needs to be updated.

Try a mobile antivirus, to be sure your phone hasn't been infected by a threat. If not (hopefully), maybe your phone needs the assistance...

I have not experienced it. There might be a glitch; repeat the procedure after some minutes. Or, try to restart your computer or phone and see if the result if the same or not
