World Teachers day 2025 fell on a Sunday so Governor Soludo approved of Tuesday.
The Anambra State Commissioner for Education in the state, Prof Ngozi Chuma-Udeh relayed the News in a statement on Monday in Awka.
 
It is encouraging to see leaders recognizing the contribution of teachers in action. Governor Soludo’s decision to move the celebration to Tuesday shows respect for the teaching profession and the importance of celebrating without rushing.

Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh’s announcement of this is a sign of good cooperation between government and the education sector. Teachers deserve their day of recognition, not to be ignored because of the calendar schedule.
