Denmark's beefing up its defenses in Greenland, and France is opening a consulate there. Seems like the Arctic is becoming a bigger deal. What I find really interesting is how this area, which people used to think wasn't that important, is now a hotspot because of what it has and where it is. Countries are really trying to get a foothold and make their mark. It's not just about military stuff either; France opening a consulate shows they're also interested in the culture and talking things out, which goes hand-in-hand with keeping things secure. I think Greenland is going to be a major player on the world stage soon. It feels like things are just getting started up in the Arctic.
