Greenland's prime minister says that the United States will not acquire Greenland

The United States. made an offer that was recently turned down by the Prime Minister of Greenland, Jens-Frederik Nielsen. President Donald Trump's statements stated an American takeover of the island. Greenland, a self-governing territory of Denmark and a U.S. NATO ally, is a large, resource-rich island in the Atlantic. US President Donald Trump has voiced an interest in acquiring Greenland for national security.

In a post on social media platform, Facebook, Jens-Frederik Nielsen, the Prime Minister of Greenland, rejected US President Donald Trump's recommendation that the US could obtain Greenland. Prime Minister Nielsen said that we are independent. President Donald Trump also suggested a non-military resolution was feasible.

He promoted world peace and international security, while also refusing to rule out any options.

If the prime minister does not agree to this, then I don't see how the united States would be able to buy it.

Whatever the plans the both have I just hope that it doesn't turn out violent. I hope everything would be resolved peacefully

I don't know how the United States think they can just acquire a sovereign nation that is not in crisis.

Greenland is already a NATO full fledged member and it will not be easy for United States to take over Greenland because it will soil their friend and relations with other NATO members.
