As the U.S. House of Representatives tries to advance crypto legislation, Paul Grewal, chief legal officer at Coinbase, discusses what the bills being considered by Congress would mean for the industry. Grewal also discusses Coinbase's move to sue Oregon after the state filed a lawsuit against the crypto exchange in April. Grewal says state officials 'flip flopped on digital assets behind closed doors, without hearings or agency rulemaking and public comment.'
 
I think i totally agreed with him. But I know that United States government is not senseless and they understand what is involved creating and protecting customers from exploitation. They have experts who can help them draft sensible bills.

Given the prior administration's "regulation by enforcement" mantra, anything would've been better. At least now there's regulatory certainly and stability, which can only help crypto down the road.
