Growth targets for selling a business

If your small business was growing steadily, at what point would you consider selling it? For example, would 30% annual growth over 3 years be enough? Or would you wait longer for it to double in size? There's no one-size-fits-all answer, as it depends on your goals and enthusiasm for the industry. I'm curious to hear what metrics and timelines others think make sense.

personally I won't want to sell a business that is doing pretty well and I am able to generate something reasonable from within a year.
