News online has it that gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted Prof Oguejiofo Ujam. a senior lecturer in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN),
he was kidnapped along the Ugwuogo-Nike-Opi-Nsukka Road in Enugu State on Sunday morning, October 27, 2024.

Oguejiofor is a lecturer at the Department of Pure and Industrial Chemistry and Dean of the School of General Studies of the university.
Details of his abduction are still sketchy at the time of filing this report.

I think it's a revenge reason. That professor might have flunked a notorious university beyond his knowledge. The suspect might also a rival of a university position. It's only my assumptions. I hope he's not harm or killed.

Yes investigation is still ongoing to know why they abducted him. He might just still be kidnapping him for ransome

On daily basis, we have avarage of 10 cases of kidnapping. About 40% of Nigeria rich men have experienced kidnapping incidents. About 10% of kidnapped people have paid ramsom. These figures is frightening!
