'Had to be a blade': Middletown woman riding motorcycle killed by man with machete

From the Preble County report, Deputies in Preble County were initially skeptical of a witness's account that a woman was fatally slashed by a machete while riding on the back of a motorcycle. Leigha Huff, of Middletown, died from the injury she sustained during the incident.

The report said that the victim, Huff, was with a man she knew at his friend's house on Sunday night. The pair left on the man's motorcycle, heading back to his home in Eaton, when Huff was struck. Body camera footage revealed deputies' disbelief at the witness's story.

The report also stated what the witnesses saw. The witness said someone was running down his driveway. It looked like he was swinging something on a rope. It had to be a blade, something sharp. The victim shouted that she had been cut. The witness called 911, but when the police arrived, the victim was already dead.

That's so sad, this is definitely one of the worse ways for anyone to go. May her soul rest in peace though.

Just imagine while riding without malice that something bad may happen to her. She might have driven not so fast, The killer was also skilled. Hoping the criminal will rot in jail.
