According to the report, IDF Chief of Staff Lt Gen Eyal Zamir has outlined plans for a major ground operation in Gaza City involving at least 80,000 soldiers in brigade-sized combat teams. The forces will encircle and aim to conquer Gaza City to destroy Hamas. The operation, accompanied by the air force, will begin moving into new areas of Gaza in the coming days. Zamir visited Gaza on August 17 with top commanders to finalize the plan. A military source said the plan carries heavy risks but will deliver a heavy blow to Hamas.

Arab countries, if they are sincere with their brothers in Gaza, they must initiate all necessary means to let those terrorist arrest and prosecute not just disarm and negotiate for a peace process and truce.
