It has never been the way it rains here nowadays. It will pour for 10 minutes and then there is sunshine and this patten continues throughout the day

That is not what our flora needs They thrive when there is some system in nature and now I see nature has gone berserk. I am stuck with sowing seeds as this is not ideal for seeds to germinate.
 
Steady rain is fine as long as it rains in the season it is meant to rain Flora followa a pattern and if it rains at wrong times that is bound to affect it badly
Yes that's true though, over here we are currently in our raining season, so it is expected that we would see rain, just that sometimes it's a little extreme. Like two weeks back we had steady rain for two weeks none stop, and it was heavy.
