Have you ever been duped by foreign taxi drivers?

Since most foreign tourists don't know the real cost and just pay what they are offered, I believe that most of them were duped by common taxi drivers. I didn't experience these kinds of situations because I frequently tried to book a cab service like Uber or another one when I was traveling.

I have never experienced this before but things like this are pretty common when you go to foreign places.
