Have you ever engaged on the mining pools?

For me l have today read about an article that was reviewing the top ten mining pools that according to the poster seemed so legit and long serving on the game. So have you ever participated on the mining pools before and what is your experience like?

The only one I have participated in is CryptoTab where I do collect a trickle of Satoshi when it's running. Not a big money maker, but then I don't need to do much either. I dump the earnings into their own NC Wallet where I can exchange it for other crypto, send it to any address and pay no fees. It all adds up.
